David Judson is in the unusual position of directing “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” and portraying Simeon, the brother who sings “Those Canaan Days” in the Andrew Lloyd Webber show. The dual titles, though, are only part of what makes the production at Tracy Grand Theatre Center for the Arts unique.
“Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” which runs Friday through Sunday, is the first performance by Tracy Performing Arts Foundation as the theatre’s resident company; it’s the only show it will perform on the facility’s main stage, and the first time the foundation has collaborated with another theater company.
