What is Sing-Along Night? Definitely not karaoke – nobody sings alone!
Everyone gets a song book with lyrics, and sings together, accompanied by the
fabulous John Scott on guitar and John Sheehan at the piano. We are choosing
some great music for the night – it’s “Medley Night” – The Beatles, The Beach
Boys, Sheryl Crow, CCR, etc. Plus, of course, John and John will be playing
some of the songs we did last time. And we have enough songs in the book that
you’ll be able to throw out requests.
This is a fundraiser, but we’re not selling tickets or charging a fee to attend.
We’ll “pass the hat” during the evening, and ask everybody to chip in a minimum
$10 donation to benefit TPAF.
If you have never been to the Mainstreet Jazz Cafe, you are in for a treat. The
cafe features sandwiches, salads, wonderful desserts, and a great selection of
wine and beer.
This will be a great night for singers and non-singers alike!! Don’t spend
another Sunday night in front of the television, WII or computer! Come on out
and start your week on a ‘high note’!!!
