Evelyn came to Tracy and immediately began working to improve the City of Tracy. Serving as City Council Member for twelve (12) years, she served and created a number of organizations including the Sustainability Project, Alternative Energy Curriculum, Mayor’s Community Youth Support Network, Special Needs Activity Program (SNAP), Tracy Performing Arts Foundation, Tracy Women’s Forum Association, Tracy Youth Advisory Commission, and The Golden Agers.
She also served on the City of Tracy Planning Commission for two years, as a Sutter Tracy Community Hospital Trustee for nine (9) years, and the Tracy Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for seven (7) years.
Prior to coming to Tracy, Evelyn was a Senior Management Analyst supervising the Youth Services Division and creation of the Youth Advisory Board drafting contracts between the City of San Jose and the School Districts. She created examinations for a broad cross-section of occupations including theatre staff and recreational positions. She also was a part-time college instructor teaching political science at San Jose City College.
As our Founder, she enjoys performing arts including writing musicals and plays. She is involved in extensive genealogical research and provides mentoring services to individuals. She continues to be a monumental supporter of performing arts and of the Tracy Performing Arts Foundation.
