John Lautenslager

Mr. Lautenslager (Mr. ‘L’) was in the Semiconductor industry from 1972 till 2002. He started out with Intel Corp. in their Livermore Facility. He was in equipment maintenance and process engineering during his time with Intel and worked for the last 23 years with Applied Materials, a Semi-Conductor equipment manufacturer. Mr. L started out in the Field Engineering division worked in Manufacturing, New equipment introduction, Application Lab management, and Facilities during his 23 years with Applied.
He received his B.S in Business from the University of Phoenix, and did his Teaching Credential courses through the University and now holds his Masters in Education. Mr. L continues to do volunteer work through Channel 26, the Public Access Television Station for Tracy and enjoys teaching and mentoring students in Video Production additionally managing his own small production company.
Currently, he works at Delta Charter High School in Tracy teaching students Video Production and helping students reach new heights and achieve their dreams.
He was born in Antioch California and moved to Tracy about 20 years ago as part of the Super Commuter exodus from the bay area. He met and married his wife, Tracy, in Tracy and lives here with daughter, Ashley. He loves video, wood working, and his motorcycle.
