AUDITIONS!!!

The Sunshine Boys Auditions!

The Tracy Performing Arts Foundation will be holding auditions for the Neil Simon comedy “The Sunshine Boys,” directed by Diann McCannon.

 When:  Saturday, January 22nd 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Where:  Grand Theatre Center for the Arts, 715 Central Avenue, Tracy, CA

Auditions will include a cold reading with script provided.

The play focuses on Al Lewis and Willy Clark, a one-time vaudevillian team known as “Lewis and Clark.”  Over the course of forty-odd years the two grew to hate each other, and never spoke to each other off-stage throughout the final year of their act. The stubborn Clark, who was not ready for retirement, resented the wiser Lewis for breaking up the act when he opted to leave show business. It is now 1985 and CBS is inviting the team to reunite for a special on the history of comedy, with the pair representing the vaudeville era at its best. Clark is convinced by his nephew Ben to revive one of the old routines one last time.

This production is casting for all roles:
Willie Clark – male, 50+
Ben Silverman – male, 20-45
Al Lewis – male 50+
Patient – male, 20+
Eddie – male, 20+
Nurse – female, 20+
Registered Nurse – female, 20+
